Share Any Webpage On Multiple Twitter Accounts Using This Chrome Extension


Twitter is a great micro-blogging site. Thousands of Tweets are being posted on the website every second from all over the world. Most of the Twitter users manage a single account and there are lots of plugins available for almost all the web browsers to make sharing webpages with your Twitter network easy.
If you have multiple Twitter accounts and you share things very often, here is a useful tool for you. Tweet Button for Chrome, by Shareholic, is an extension that lets you share the webpage you’re currently browsing in Chrome in a single click with your Twitter friends. The cool thing about this extension is you can add multiple Twitter accounts so that you can send the webpage title and link to all Twitter accounts that you own in a jiffy. Tweet Button installs like any other chrome extension. Once installed, a new bird icon will appear on Chrome toolbar that will show the number of times the current page you’re on has been tweeted. Clicking on the bird icon will open a pop-up where you’ll be asked to connect your Twitter account. It uses Twitter OAuth so you don’t need to worry while singing into Twitter and granting permission to the extension for sending out tweets to your account.

Once the authorization process is done, simply go to any webpage and click the icon bird. A pop-up window will appear containing the tweet box. You’ll see that page title and URL are automatically added in the box. You can change the text if you want or just hit the ‘Tweet This’ button. The shared tweet will instantly appear on your Twitter Timeline.

To add multiple accounts, you’ll have to click on the ‘+’ button next to ‘Tweet This’. Take a look at the screenshot above to see where it is. It will take you to the Shareholic account manager page. There, you’ll see that you’re already logged into the site using Twitter authorization but you’ll be required to sign up with your email address to add multiple accounts to the extension. It’s easy, just enter your email address and a password in the sign up form at the left sidebar.
Once you’re done signing up with your email address, just navigate to the following as shown in the image below, and click on ‘Connect with Twitter’ to add another account. That’s it !! You can send tweets to multiple Twitter accounts in just a click as long as the extension is connected to your Shareholic account.

Also, you can use the extension from the right click context menu. The extension will be useful for those people who have different Twitter accounts for professional and personal life.
